At 3D Lab, we proudly utilize the Shining 3D Einstar for our 3D scanning needs. This enables us to capture precise and detailed digital representations of objects, ensuring accuracy and quality in our projects. With its user-friendly interface and cutting-edge technology, the Einstar enhances our ability to deliver exceptional results to our clients. For some jobs we also use a Creality scanner with CrealityScan software.
How Does Our 3D Scanning Process Work?
01 Send Us a Sample Object Photo
Send us a clear photo of the object so we can judge its size, shape and complexity. For large or fixed objects, we can come and scan on site.
02 Discuss the Desired Output Size
We agree on the final size of the model: same as the original, scaled up or scaled down. The right scale makes the model fit for prototyping, production or any other use.
03 Briefing or Modification on the Output
We explain the scanning process and the file formats you will receive (STL, OBJ or PLY). Need parts removed, details sharpened or elements added? We agree on that here.
04 Straight to the Scanner
The object is scanned with a 3D scanner that captures every contour and feature. The resulting point cloud is processed into a ready-to-use 3D mesh.
